ASLA Green Roof Web Cam Up and Running
Just in time for this week’s dedication, ASLA has installed a web cam on its green roof.

ASLA has installed a webcam to keep track of the final days of the green roof landscape construction. This will allow members and interested parties to view the project as soil is put down, and plants are installed. It will also offer live coverage of the green roof dedication on April 26. The ASLA roof will be formally dedicated on Wednesday, April 26. The ceremony, which will begin at 3:00 PM, will include remarks by Steven Peck, President, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, Dennis Carmichael, FASLA, President, ASLA, Michael Van Valkenburgh, FASLA, and a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring The Honorable Linda Cropp, Chair, District of Columbia City
Council.

ASLA is also hosting a media tour of the green roof landscape on Tuesday, April 25. The event will feature representatives from Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc., Forrester Construction, and DMJM Design.
